Obituary of Gary Pearl Back

Gary Pearl Back, 70, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023. He was born on July 5, 1952 in Frenchburg, KY to the late Nora Blair and Joe Back. Mr. Back was retired and living in Richmond, KY. He was a sergeant in the United States Airforce and had worked in Instrumentation Maintenance.   

Mr. Back loved to fish, especially with his grandchildren, and enjoyed a hobby making custom made whittling carvings made of wood or bone.

Those left to cherish his memory includes his daughters, Ashley (Ron) Caudill, Christina Caudill, Heather Caudill, Nora Back, Teresa Cobb, and Lisa Roberson; siblings, Roger, Randy, Joe, Barbara, and Gina; grandchildren, Tylika, Ja’Quan, Nyssa “Princess”, Eathian, Autumn “Sweet Pea”, Antonio “Lil man”, Allea, Ben, Katelyn “Honey Bunny” and Apollo.  

In addition to his parents, Mr. Back is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary K.
