Obituary of Charles Edward Ethington, Jr.

Charles Edward Ethington, Jr. (Big C), 79, died on Thurs., Oct. 6, 2022 in Lexington, KY. He was born in Lexington, KY on Jan. 18, 1943 to the late Charles Edward Ethington, Sr. and Martha Ethington.  Charles was the owner of Ethington Electric and Hemingways Restaurant in Lexington, KY.  He is survived by two sons, Charles (Laurie) Ethington, III, Lexington, KY and Steven Ethington, Lexington, KY; one daughter, Theresa (Kyle) Judy, Shelbyville, KY; seven grandchildren, Steven Ethington, Olivia Judy, Amanda Judy, Anthony Ethington, Alyssa Ethington, Aaron Ethington and Aubrey Ethington; one brother, Freddie Ethington, Lexington, KY; one sister, Becky Ethington, Lexington, KY.  He is proceeded in death by two sisters, Patsy Doherty and Judy Butterfield. A visitation will be Thurs. Oct. 13, 2022 from 5pm-8pm at Clark Legacy Center – Brannon Crossing.  A funeral service will be at 11am on Fri. Oct. 14, 2022 at the funeral home.  Burial to follow in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
