Obituary of Peggy L. Lewis

Peggy L. Lewis, 84, passed away on Saturday, July 23. 2022. Wife of the late Bobby Lewis, Peggy was born June 10, 1938, to the late Grover and Dorothy Bostain Leitch in Frankfort, Kentucky. A member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Peggy was also a retired employee of Good Shepherd, where she spent many years as a cafeteria cook.   

Peggy is survived by her daughters, Debra Lewis of Frankfort and Donna Lewis of Frankfort; her daughter in law, Lisa Lewis of Lexington; her sister, Pamela (Don) Polly of Frankfort; brother, Tommy (Linda) Leitch of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Kristina (Josh) Drake of Versailles and Benjamin Lewis of Lexington; and her great grandchildren, Micah Drake and Riley Drake. 

In addition to her husband, Bobby Lewis, and parents, Grover and Dorothy Bostain Leitch, Peggy was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Lewis, and sisters, Sue Hale and Mary F. Bertrand.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00a, Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Frankfort, with Father Charles Howell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Frankfort. Nathan Polly, Derek Polly, Kent Campbell, Lonnie Campbell, Josh Drake, and Ed Moriarty will serve as pallbearers. A Visitation will be held from 5:00p until 8:00p, Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd, in Frankfort.
