Obituary of Victoria Jane Howson

Frankfort – Victoria Jane Pierstorff Howson, 69, wife of Jeff Howson, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born in Madison, Wisconsin on March 5, 1953 to the late Duane and Joan Beyler Pierstorff. Victoria was a preschool teacher; she was a longtime leader in Vacation Bible School and an active board member of the Wesley Day Center at First United Methodist Church in Frankfort. She worked with Brownies and Girl Scout groups and was an avid crafter and lover of lady bugs.  

In addition to her husband of almost 50 years, she is survived by her daughter, Kim (Steve) Coleman, Frankfort; her son, EJ Howson, Corbin; her brother, William Pierstorff, Frankfort; her grandchild, Kelsey Willhoite; and eighteen nieces and nephews within the United States and around the world. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Pierstorff.  

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Frankfort. Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until the time of service on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the GAP Ministry at First United Methodist Church.
