Obituary of Stanley John Dalton

Lexington - Stanley John Dalton, 87, husband of Patricia Nunan Dalton, passed away on June 16, 2022 in Lexington. Stanley was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on May 31, 1935 to the late John and Sarah Whitelaw Dalton. He was a graduate of St. Anthony’s Academy in Edinburgh and completed a technical apprenticeship with the Royal Society of Woodworkers in Edinburgh.   He was retired from IBM as a facilities engineer and built several homes in Lexington.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, daughters, Patricia (David) Harris ,Ruth Dalton, Angela Dalton ,sons, John Dalton, Joe (Elizabeth) Dalton, grandchildren, Joshua, Jack, and Claire Dalton,  great grandchildren, Lauren and Kara Dalton.  He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sally Findlay, Julia DuPont, Betty Rae.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, 11am,  at Mary Queen of the Holy Rosary. Father Dan Noll will officiate.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5 until 7pm at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. www.clarklegacycenter.com
