Obituary of Christine W. Cloyd

Christine Willoughby Cloyd, 88, widow of William B. Cloyd, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022. She was born in Woodford County, Kentucky to the late Ben Jeff and Bessie McCall Willoughby on November 20, 1933. Mrs. Cloyd retired from the purchasing department at Texas Instruments where she worked for 34 years. She was also a member of Versailles Baptist Church and loved antiquing and framing prints. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Julie Robinson, Versailles, Susan Robinson (Chad) Rudzik, Lexington and Ryan Adcock, Lexington; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brady Rudzik, Lexington, sister-in-law, Carolyn Cloyd, Versailles; and stepson, William Linville Cloyd, Florence. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Barbara Robinson, and Donna Adcock; her sister, Geraldine Croley; and her brothers, Ben J. Willoughby, Earl Willoughby, and Ray Willoughby. Funeral Service will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2022 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Rev. Jonathan Berry officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Chad Rudzik, Ricky McGoldrick, Ben McGoldrick, Calvin Robinson, Chuck Thompson and Bill Thompson. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM on Friday until the time of service.
