Obituary of Joyce Ann Doane

Joyce Ann Walls Doane, 79, widow of Charles Doane, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022. She was born in Louisville on September 11, 1942 to the late William “Jack” and Alberta Hutchins Walls. She was retired from the National Distillery. She was a member of North Frankfort Baptist Church. Joyce loved playing bingo and traveling.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Betty) Allen, William (Dee) Allen, CA, Alberta Martinez, CA, and Michael (Carmen) Allen, Frankfort; her sister, Judy Marsh, IN; her brothers, William Walls Jr, Louisville, and Roger Walls, Frankfort; her grandchildren, Kristen (Eric) Middleton, Kenneth Allen, III, Michelle (Gordon, III) Mandat, Paul (Ilce) Allen, Diane (Daniel) Loredo, Steven Allen, Victoria Allen, Joseph (Ashley) Martinez, Deborah (James) Cebry, Devin Allen, Michael Allen, Jr., Crystall Allen (Paul) Vickers, Amanda Allen, Josh Allen, Shannon McDonald, Amanda McDonald, and Breanna Engler; 48 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Janice Early; her brother, Walter Walls; and her grandson, Gregory Allen.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd with Bro. David Smith officiating. Services will be streamed via Clark Legacy Center Facebook page. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Joe Martinez, Steven Allen, Roger Walls, Bill Walls, Alan Early, Wayne Walls, Roscoe Marsh, and William Early. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
