Obituary of Fairley W. Sheffield

Fairley W. Sheffield, 78, beloved father, grandfather and brother, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 2, 2022. He was born on November 27, 1943 in Powell County, KY to the late Noah & Lina Martin Sheffield. Mr. Sheffield was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a retired furniture sales manager.   

Survivors include his daughter, Heather (Stephen) Reed; son, Addison Watts; sister, Carol (Jack) Diamond; brothers, Cecil (Twala) Sheffield, Ray (Marlene) Sheffield; grandchildren, Nikolas Reed, Madalyn Reed, and Athrun Watts.   
 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by seven siblings.   
 

Mr. Sheffield enjoyed spending time with his family, telling story about his time at sea, pulling practical jokes and cheering for UK.  
 

Graveside will be Thursday, February 10, 2022 at 11AM, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
