Obituary of Myron Frazee Howe

Myron Frazee Howe, 81, beloved husband of Lorna Decker Howe, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 1, 2021. He was born in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania on March 24, 1940 to the late Roberta and Frazee Howe. Myron worked and retired from IBM after 30 years, as a mechanical engineer, and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Nicholasville. He was a man of great faith who loved the Lord and served as church treasurer for over 30 years.  

In addition to his wife of 62 years, those left to cherish his memory include his son, Donald Howe; his daughters, Kathleen MacDonald, Kristine (Gary) Goldey; brother, Thomas Howe; grandsons, Timothy (Lauren) Adams Jr., Joel (Lindsay) Adams, Nicholas Goldey, Jacob F. Goldey, and Levi Goldey; great- grandchildren, Audree Goldey-Turner, Joel Adams Jr., Luke Adams, and Mark Adams. Myron has a multitude of other family members who will also cherish his memory.  

Besides his involvement in his church, some of Myron's favorite things included model trains and collecting antique toy trucks. He also enjoyed fishing, bowling and watching sports where he always cheered for the underdog, unless it was UK. Myron and son-in-law Gary attended the "92" UK vs Duke game at the Spectrum in Philadelphia.  

A memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Baptist Church located at 105 Shun Pike Nicholasville, KY at 11:00am on December 18, 2021. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
