Obituary of Carlos Timothy Sams

Carlos Timothy Sams, 61, husband of Karen Ridings Sams, passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021. A native of Versailles, he was born on January 22, 1960 to the late Carlos Jay and Peggy Joyce Kincaid Sams. He worked for the Department of Revenue as a Computer Analysist and was a member of Millville Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Georgia (Michael) Keller, Frankfort, Joel (Brittany) Sams, Frankfort, Ronnie (Cierla) Sams, AL, Robbie Sams, CA, Rebecca Sams, Frankfort, James Sams, Frankfort, and Daniel Sams, Frankfort; his brothers, Johnny Sams and Mike Sams, both of Frankfort; and his grandchildren, David Keller, Elsie Sams, and Peter Sams.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Sams; and his granddaughter, Amelia Keller.

Funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Millville Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Douglas officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Joel Sams, Ronnie Sams, Robbie Sams, James Sams, Daniel Sams, Johnny Sams, and Michael Keller. Honorary Casketbearers will be Johnny Sams and Mike Sams. Visitation will be held from 12:00pm until 1:30pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Millville Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Millville Baptist Church.
