Obituary of John Thomas Osborne

John Thomas Osborne, 73, passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021. He was born in Monterey, Kentucky on June 16, 1948 to the late John William Osborne and Clara Bell Parker Joshland. He was a carpenter. John loved having a good time, he was a jokester and very outgoing; he enjoyed being around people and playing horseshoes. John was an avid fisherman and rabbit hunter.

He is survived by his sons, Ellerick (Amy) Osborne, and Brian (Kim) Osborne, both of Frankfort; his sisters, Shirley Ison, Frankfort, Irene Perkins, Clay City, and Betty; his grandchildren, Tommy Osborne, Chasity Osborne, Alyssa Osborne, Hunter Osborne, and Aubrianna Osborne; numerous great grandchildren; and his Boston terrier, Buck.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Serving as casketbearers will be Shane McClease, Tommy Osborne, Hunter Osborne, David Osborne, Holly Parker, Shawn Osborne, and Darrell Brophy. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
