Obituary of Shirley G. Dunn

Shirley G. Dunn, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021.  A native of Versailles, she was born on April 20, 1935 to the late Robert L. and Margaret Perry Dunn. She was an insurance agent with McWilliams Insurance Agency. Shirley was a lifelong member of Versailles Baptist Church and graduated from Versailles high School in 1953.

She is survived by her sister, Roberta “Bobbi” Dunn, Versailles; as well as numerous cousins.  

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill with Dr. Michael Cabell officiating. Burial will follow at Versailles Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Logan Stevens, Patrick Perry, Hyter Lancaster, Keith Stevens, Paul Schell, Roy Lancaster, Boone Lancaster, Spurgeon Chapman, and DeWayne Reed. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Versailles Baptist Church.
