Obituary of Shawna Gail Morton

Shawna Gail Morton, 43, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. She was born in Winchester on August 28, 1977 to Mendell Morton and the late Brenda Gail Dunn Morton. A Jumper for Monoplast, Shawna was one of a kind, funny, obnoxious, and outgoing. She was the Ying to her family’s Yang. She was very loving and would give anyone the shirt off her back. She loved going to yard sales and would shop until she dropped. Shawna loved eating sweets and watching crime shows.  

In addition to her father, she is survived by her daughter, Lacey Decker, Owensboro; her son, Casey Decker, Frankfort; her sisters, Sheila Sparks, Frankfort, and Pam Mattingly, Stanton; and her brothers, Scott (Kelly Dean) Morton, Loredo, and Michael (Amanda) Morton, Brownsville.  

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd. Visitation will be held from 11:00am until the time of service on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Rd.
