Obituary of Charles Emmett Latta

Charles Emmett Latta, 74, husband of Karen V. Latta passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. He was born on November 7, 1946 to the late William Elmer and Jean Griffith Latta in Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Mr. Latta was a retired executive in the Forging Industry. Charles loved auto racing, especially attending Eldora speedway with his close group of friends for the biggest sprint car events.  He also was an avid golfer in retirement.  In addition to his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his children, Shannon (Jody) Shadbolt, Lexington and WIlliam (Kim) Latta, Medina, TN; his sister, Bonnie (Charles) Kreinar, Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Brooke Resler, Ravyn Lacey, Nicholas Latta and Danica Duty; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn and Henry Resler. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Daughtery. 

A gathering of family and friends will be on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 12PM until 2PM at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Online condolences may be made at www.clarklegacycenter.com
